Every year it is so amazing to look back at what has been accomplished, how we have grown, what we've learned, and what we have to look forward to the following year. Before I begin talking about the future, I want to take a moment to recognize some important moments of 2011:
1. My brother, Brady, and Jenn getting married.
2. Family Trip to Bend to go skiing.
3. 8 years married, Ty turning 4 and Henry turning 1
4. Ending my job at Redwood Christian, then beginning my job at Lafayette
5. New puppy at Christmas :)
6. Getting prepared for 2 sister in laws to have babies
7. Trip with hubby to Wine Country and San Francisco, many trips to the lake, Mens and Womens Retreat, HOD in Sacramento, and my trip with the 6th-8th graders to the east coast.
8. Experiencing all of the different holidays with a toddler and preschooler, decorating and making new traditions. Enjoying their expressions and responses and seeing it from their perspective.
9. Parties, get togethers, nights out and in with friends and family.
10. We are healthy, happy, money in the bank, roof over our heads, friends we can call, family we can lean on, smiles on our faces, and eagerly anticipating the future, looking fondly at the past, and embracing and enjoying the present... Here's to a great 2011 and praying for a fantastic 2012!
