Happy Birthday, Aaron!

It has been a whilrwind weekend that started Thursday. We had Crossfit Faith Thursday night before heading home to talk wedding details and premarital counseling with Ian and Bree (Ian flew home Wednesday night for the wedding, plus 2 week vacation before him and Bree head back to Arizona where he is stationed for the Marines). We stayed up late, went through busy days of work before heading down to Fortuna for the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and the end of Aaron's cousin's birthday party. Saturday I went for a run before taking Henry on a few errands, meeting the boys at Pacific Motorsports to support Veronica's open house, and then back to Fortuna for another cousin birthday at the skating rink. We dropped the boys off at Aaron's parents before heading to Scotia Inn for the wedding. It is always fun to watch Aaron perform weddings, it never gets old and even if it sounds cheesy, it always makes me reflect on our wedding day which seems like forever ago (almost 9 years).  This was his 6th wedding with one more for sure this summer. I never get sick of weddings. My inlaws dropped off the boys during the reception and Tyler was hilarious dancing and whenever a fast song came on he would sprint to the dance floor :)

Today we woke up my hubby turning 31 :) We are not scared of a little cold (I mean freezing) weather. Aaron and Ty got on their bikes and Henry in the jogging stroller and we ran/biked the 2 miles to Gills by the Bay. The morning was gorgeous, food was yummy, perfect way to start the day. Then problem #1 happened: as I was getting closer to the restaurant (I left 10 min before Aaron) I realized that I didn't think about getting a garage door opener and I knew Aaron would assume that I had something. Sure enough we were locked out of our house, thank goodness my parents came to the rescue. I then left for church 30 minutes early to run a few errands before problem #2: Aaron forgot he didn't get the keys to the trailblazer out of my car, so I had to go all the way home to deliver keys to him. I've been teasing him all day that he has lost a part of his brain now that he's 31. (We had a keys locked in the car incident last weekend). We enjoyed ANOTHER birthday party for Dylan today before relaxing/naptime and dinner tonight at Sushi Spot with friends and drinks with more friends. I'm completely thankful for this man I call my best friend and husband. He works extremely hard (last weekend completely fixed our heating system by himself), he is an excellent father, loving husband, and spiritual head of our household. I'm proud of who he is, how he wants to shape our sons, and the goals and dreams that we are building together. It's amazing how fast time has gone by since celebrating his 20th birthday after only dating a few weeks.
Happy happy birthday Aaron!
