Tis the Season :)

Nothing is better than Christmas time! We get to celebrate Jesus' birth, buy other people presents, and do so many fun things :) This past weekend was a Christmas marathon of events. Friday night we hosted the First Annual Young Maples Party. Maples decided not to have a Christmas party this year, so Aaron and I decided we should have our own. 7 of the guys and their wives came over for food, drinks, ugly Christmas sweaters, BUNCO, and Just Dance Party. It was so much fun :) I love an excuse to throw a party! That same night the boys and their cousins had a Christmas sleepover. They went with their Grammy and Poppy to McDonalds for dinner, looked at lights, went to Arts Arcata, and had ice cream. Plus they got to see Santa for the first time and they both were in love!
Saturday morning Aaron and I went to Ferndale to meet our puppy for the first time and went to a Crossfit class together. Saturday evening we picked up our adopted child for the night, Baylee and headed to the Truckers Parade with pizza. The kids loved it, we shared laughter and hot chocolate with tons of well decorate trucks!
Sunday we headed to church, relaxed a little in the afternoon before going back to see Narnia. Henry of course didn't want to sit still, but Tyler loved it. He was very proud of his Uncle Chuck.
This week is busy with the dental society Christmas party Thursday and school finishing up Friday. Looking forward to sushi date with Ian and Bree tonight, Tyler's preschool performance Thursday, and more Christmas fun this weekend! I hope you are enjoying this magical season as much as we are!

Henry wasn't too impressed, he only wanted Chuck from afar
